On your way to New England, overnight at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Mashantucket, CT. The first stop in Maine is their southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick. Continue through Ogunquit to Kennebunkport for lunch and down east into Bar Harbor. In Bar Harbor, sit back and relax on a two hour, fully narrated cruise of Frenchman Bay and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of coastal Maine, Acadia National Park, the islands of Frenchman Bay and Bar Harbor. Spend time on own in Bar Harbor before a traditional lobsterbake that evening with all the fixin's. See the highlights of Camden and Rockport with a photo stop atop Mt. Battie in the Camden Hills State Park. Head to Boothbay Harbor - the sailing capital of Maine - for a narrated cruise past beautiful islands, lighthouses and wildlife. Check into the Boothbay Harbor Inn for the night. In Freeport, briefly visit L.L. Bean and the outlet shops before heading to Portland for a guided tour of Maine's largest city-by-the-sea. Visit the most photographed lighthouse in America, the Portland Head Lighthouse. And of course, there is always more lobster! Stay overnight at the Public House Inn in Sturbridge, MA with a wonderful dinner in the Main Inn before traveling home the next day.

Monday, Aug 10
Enjoy a buffet breakfast this morning before you make your way to Maine. Your first stop is Maine's southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick. Continue through Ogunquit into Kennebunkport where you will have lunch on your own in the charming little port with it's quaint waterfront boutiques and restaurants. Travel to Bar Harbor and check into the Atlantic Oceanside overlooking Frenchman's Bay for a 2-night stay. Dinner included at the resort this evening.B, D
Tuesday, Aug 11
Enjoy a hot breakfast in a private room at the resort before we board the Acadian Nature Cruise. Relax and enjoy a two-hour sightseeing cruise on Frenchman's Bay. This afternoon you will enjoy free time in downtown Bar Harbor to explore the shops, boutiques and lunch on own at one of the of the numerous restaurants that are centrally located along the waterfront. Tonight, enjoy a Maine lobsterbake with all the fixin's. (Alternate choices are steak and haddock for you landlubbers!).B, D
Wednesday, Aug 12
After a hot breakfast, make your way south along the coast to Camden. Enjoy a guided tour of Camden and Rockport highlights. The tour includes a photo stop atop Mt. Battie within the beautiful Camden Hills State Park where you'll see sweeping views of Penobscot Bay and the surrounding islands. Free time for lunch on own in Camden Village along the waterfront. Make your way south to the picturesque Boothbay Harbor featuring brick sidewalks lined with unique shops and a charming footbridge stretching across the harbor to walk along for great photos of the many sailboats and lobster boats. This afternoon, take a narrated Boothbay Harbor Cruise seeing the islands, lighthouses and vacation homes that dot the coastline. Check into the Boothbay Harbor Inn for tonight. Dinner on own this evening in the downtown area.B
Thursday, Aug 13
A full breakfast buffet is included at the hotel this morning before traveling south to Freeport, Maine. Enjoy a brief visit to Freeport Village, home of L.L. Bean and other outlet stores. Next we travel to Portland for a guided tour of Maine's largest city-by-the-sea. You'll see views of sea captain houses and elegant Victoria Mansion as you drive through historic neighborhoods overlooking the islands of Casco Bay in Portland Harbor. Your tour includes a stop at Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in America.
Lunch is on your own in Portland's restored waterfront district. Later, we make our way to the Sturbridge, MA area staying at the Publick House - the Crown Jewel - for tonight. A wonderful dinner is included this evening at the Main Inn.
Friday, Aug 14
After a full breakfast buffet at the hotel, we depart for home with fond memories of your trip!
