Harriet Tubman, the famous freedom fighter and Underground Railroad conductor, is the first African-American woman to be honored with her own national parks. The Harriet Tubman Museum is full of exhibits that reveal the life and work of Harriet Tubman, a former slave who led her life to emancipate slaves as well as to preserve the Afro-American culture. Visit for a look into the turbulent yet brave life of this visionary.

Travel through the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and visit the Bucktown Village Store, an authentic 19th century country store operating as a museum featuring authentic African American artifacts related to slavery, various displays, and gifts within a country store setting. Experience a driving tour that shares incredible stories of courage in Harriet Tubman's homeland on Maryland's Eastern Shore.  Enjoy a plated lunch at Suicide Bridge Restaurant.
